Open Call: International Studio & Curatorial Program Residency 2023, New York

Temple Bar Gallery + Studios and the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) are delighted to announce an open call for artists to apply for the prestigious ISCP residency in New York. This funded residency aims to provide support for visual artists by covering living and materials costs.

The ISCP residency offers selected artists a range of valuable benefits. Participants will have 24-hour access to a private furnished studio space, allowing for uninterrupted creative work. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to engage with visiting critics and art world professionals through studio visits. Field trips to renowned museums, galleries, and other cultural venues in New York are also included, providing exposure to the vibrant art scene of the city. Participants will also have the chance to participate in artist talks and the highly anticipated ISCP Open Studios event. This residency offers a unique opportunity to live and work in the dynamic cultural capital of New York City for a period of three months, fostering networking opportunities and facilitating connections with international artists and curators.

The Tresidency specifically supports an Irish or Ireland-based artist, providing them with the chance to immerse themselves in the artistic community of ISCP in Brooklyn, New York. ISCP, situated in a former factory, boasts 35 light-filled work studios and two galleries. It is renowned as New York’s most comprehensive international visual arts residency programme.

Interested artists are encouraged to submit their applications by 5 pm on Friday, 26 May 2023.
