Office Administrator
Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture has a vacancy for an Office Administrator. The position is to be undertaken as a full-time
fixed term contract position, based in Galway. The role will be responsible for a range of administrative activities including those listed below;
Responsibilities:
– Office reception including face to face, telephonic, inbound and outbound mail;
– Monitor and order office stationery and other office supplies;
– Point of contact for all 3rd party vendors including cleaners, maintenance, IT, and office logistics;
– Maintain office security and safety procedures;
– Manage in-house meeting room configuration including food and refreshments;
– Arrange travel and accommodation when required;
– Maintain and update databases and software files and perform other administrative duties such as filing, photocopying etc;
Skills and Experience required:
– A recognized office administration qualification
– Proven work experience in Office Administration
– Strong organizational, multi-tasking, time-management, and IT skills
– Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
– Ability to work well under pressure
– Customer service mindset and attitude
