Health and Safety Capital Programme
The Arts Council of Northern Ireland has introduced the ‘Health and Safety Capital Programme’ for organisations. This programme is established to aid organisations in procuring equipment or undertaking minor premises works, addressing health, safety, and maintenance issues rendering spaces unfit for purpose. The objective is to support entities throughout Northern Ireland in maintaining spaces that are secure and welcoming for staff, artists, and audiences, while also advancing the arts in innovative ways.
Priority will be given to projects that enhance accessibility, foster a safe environment, improve the atmosphere for the arts sector, and amplify the audience’s experience. While applications are open to a broad spectrum of organisations, some entities, including sole traders, central government departments, schools, colleges, and universities, are excluded.
The deadline for applications is 25 September at 12pm.
