The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is offering funding through their ‘Musical Instruments for Individuals’ programme. This initiative is aimed at supporting professional performing musicians who require high-quality instruments pivotal to their careers.

To qualify, applicants must:

1. Work as a solo performer or within a small group/chamber ensemble across any musical genre.
2. Be based in Northern Ireland and intend to use the instrument there regularly.
3. Have made artistic contributions in Northern Ireland for at least 1 year within the last 5 years.
4. Be 18 or older and not in secondary education.

The deadline is Monday, 11 September 2023, at 12:00 PM, with decisions announced by November 2023.
