Royal Academy of Music (RAM) is seeking an Open Academy Administrator and Project Manager (Maternity Cover).

Open Academy is RAM’s innovative community and participation programme, engaging with schools, Music Education Hubs, health and wellbeing contexts and other artistic partners to bring its mission of making music at the highest level to the fullest range of society.

You will assume a pivotal role in the operational efficiency of the Open Academy team, being responsible for managing the delivery of the department’s year-round programme of work, and the coordination of the Open Academy elective modules. You will have excellent administration skills and will be able to deal with a variety of projects at any one time, with an ability to prioritise, organise and take initiative.

You will often be the first point of contact for Academy students, and for external project partners from primary schools through to leading arts organisations. You must therefore be articulate, personable and highly professional at all times. You will be a dynamic team player and will be able to communicate effectively within the institution. You will be highly reliable, with initiative and an ability to self-motivate.

At present, the role holder will work a combination of at home and onsite.
