The Playhouse Derry-Londonderry is seeking a Climate Action Officer.

The Climate Action Officer at The Playhouse will lead and support the delivery of the organidation’s Zero Waste to Net Zero climate action project working in partnership with Zero Waste North West, Northern Ireland Resource Network and Queens University Belfast.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about climate action with the requisite project management and community building skills to translate ideas and initiatives into meaningful action across the Derry City and Strabane City Region. It also means that you will understand that what is required now is a cultural shift and believe in the value of the arts in helping to make this shift.

As it is a dynamic role, the organisation is open to working with people from a range of backgrounds who have the relevant key skills as well as the ability and desire to learn the full scope of the job.
