The National Concert Hall is home to the National Symphony Orchestra and classical music in Ireland. Our vision is to be an inspiring world-renowned music organisation, accessible to all and one that enriches people’s lives and the cultural landscape of the country. We do this by championing musical excellence and presenting the best international and Irish music. NCH is a living space for music, for lifelong enjoyment, connection and participation in music, for everyone.

The National Concert Hall has secured the support and funding from the Government of Ireland for the redevelopment of the extensive Earlsfort Terrace site in Dublin’s City Centre. Within the plans are the creation of a dedicated, state of the art, space for the orchestra. This will include a purpose built rehearsal space, practice rooms, changing facilities, physio and well-being spaces, catering and green rooms. Work is likely to start onsite in 2026 and last for three years. During this time, the orchestra and chorus will operate from an alternative Dublin base and focus on presenting concerts in various venues across the country.
