Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office invites applications from professional artists for the Cruinniú na nÓg Commission: Early Childhood Arts 2024.

This commission is targeted towards artists who specialise in creating art for and with children from birth to four years. The commissioned art will celebrate the National Day of Creativity for children in 2024 with an exhibition in the Municipal Gallery, dlr LexIcon, Dún Laoghaire. This initiative is funded by Creative Ireland and supported by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Children and Young People’s Services Committee and Shanganagh Park House Community Childcare.

The project involves collaboration with children and early childhood educators from Shanganagh Park House to ensure the art is interactive and appropriate for the targeted age group.

Application deadline is 5pm, Tuesday 3 October 2023.
