The Button Factory, in partnership with IMRO, will present the A Litany of Failures weekender on 30 and 31 March, 2024.

The A Litany of Failures project was initiated in 2016 with the release of its first compilation volume, featuring artists such as Junk Drawer, Oh Boland, Shrug Life, and That Snaake. Since then, the project has expanded to include three more volumes, bringing together a total of 60 acts across its compilations. Each volume is released as a double vinyl compilation, featuring a wide range of artists including Robocobra Quartet, Silverbacks, Problem Patterns, Junior Brother, Elaine Howley, Myles Manley, Cherym, Post Punk Podge, and many others.

Performances are scheduled across two venues within the Button Factory complex: the Main Room and Crowbar Terrace. The lineup is below.

There will also be a panel discussion on music production on Saturday, featuring John ‘Spud’ Murphy, Chris W Ryan, and Jamie Hyland. The discussion aims to provide insights into the challenges and innovations within music production and will be moderated by Zara Hedderman of Totally Dublin and RTÉ Arena.

This event is designed as a fundraiser to support the production of Volume V in the “A Litany of Failures” compilation series.
