Yvonne Casey is one of Co. Clare’s most distinctive fiddle players with a unique soulful style. Originally from Dublin but living in Clare for the past 30 years, bouzouki player, Eoin O’Neill is renowned for his informal music sessions and for encouraging the playing of young and old alike. Emma Karran is a music teacher who lives and works in South Clare. Although classically trained, Emma finds the rich and vibrant traditional music of Clare deeply inspires her own music making, composing and teaching.
Jyoshna La Trobe is a NZ singer/songwriter and ethnomusicologist now living in Clare. Her music communicates to others her life’s journey, and her latest collection of songs express the desire for transformation, ecstatic love, separation and motherhood, representing a musical diary of a woman’s journey.
