Arts Council England is looking for enthusiastic advocates of culture and creativity to fill two six-month fixed-term Relationship Manager roles in the South-West. These roles would typically be based in the Bristol office; however, at present, staff are working from home as a result of Covid-19, and when offices reopen, a hybrid working model will be put in place.

In applying for this role candidates are encouraged to show how they would use their specialist knowledge and experience of at least one of the following areas to support the development and delivery of Let’s Create, our strategy for 2020-30, across the South West: Audiences and Engagement, Children and Young People, Combined arts, Dance, Diversity, Creative Media, Libraries, Literature, Museums, Music, Socially Engaged Practice, Theatre, Touring, Visual arts.

Candidates should also be able to demonstrate broad and up-to-date knowledge of the cultural landscape of the South-West, and a clear grasp of the role of culture and creativity in supporting places, and the people who live in them, to thrive.

The Relationship Managers will be part the South West Area team and will contribute to the shaping and delivery of Arts Council England’s work across the region. The successful candidates will manage a portfolio of organisations and will advise on and assess funding applications from individual artists, organisations, companies and communities.
