BBC is hiring an Assistant Producer to work on Radio 1. If you are obsessed with popular youth culture – especially music, TV, social media and of course radio – then we are interested in hearing from you.

The successful candidate will be working predominantly on Radio 1 Daytime programmes (Salford), but may also be required to work across the wider Radio 1, 1Xtra and Asian Network production unit.

This is a production position working for BBC Audio. BBC Audio devise, develop and deliver original content for the BBC.

You’ll be a key part of the team making content for Radio 1 programmes – whether in the studio delivering radio programmes, or creating content for social and digital platforms. You’ll provide support for producers and presenters, come up with ideas every day and be a champion for content that connects with young, diverse audiences across the UK.
