Arts Council England is currently seeking a Communications Manager (Marketing). The position is permanent and full-time, with a 35-hour working week. The role offers a competitive salary of £38,665 per annum, complemented by a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and the flexibility of both hybrid and remote working options.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and manage the Arts Council’s digital and marketing communications strategy, share innovative communication techniques with a diverse audience, and lead a team of Marketing Officers in delivering effective communication campaigns. The role requires a strategic and accessible approach to communications, ensuring all content meets the organization’s editorial standards and effectively reaches and engages with various audiences.

Applicants must possess strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and a proactive attitude towards identifying improvements and engaging in relevant discussions.

The role will be based in Manchester, though consideration will be given to other locations outside of London. The position involves a combination of remote work and regular on-site contact days.

The closing date for applications is 9:00am on Wednesday, 1 November 2023. First interviews are scheduled for Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 November 2023, followed by second interviews on Tuesday 28 November 2023.
