Creative Places Award

Creative Places Award

Thursday, 28 March 2024, 5.30pm

The Arts Council is inviting applications for the Creative Places Award, aimed at fostering inclusive and diverse arts programmes in communities across Ireland with limited access to the arts. This initiative seeks to build upon cultural strengths through socially engaged arts practice and community development principles, with a strong focus on involving individuals often excluded from such opportunities.

The award is open to local authorities, arts organisations, and community development organisations, including local-authority arts offices, Ealaín na Gaeltachta, and organisations supporting specific groups. The Creative Places Award is structured into three strands, catering to both existing recipients progressing into further phases of their projects and new applicants focusing on research and development. New applicants can apply for up to €30,000 under Strand 3 for a one-off Research and Development Award.

Applications must be submitted by the deadline of 28 March 2024, 5.30pm.
