Longford County Council is seeking a Creative Communities Engagement Officer (Grade V) on a five-year fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Creative Ireland Coordinator, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the Culture and Creativity team, actively engaging with relevant directorates and personnel, both internal and external. Responsibilities include strategic delivery of the Culture and Creativity Strategy 2023-2027, liaising with local creatives and organisations, supporting the Creative Ireland Coordinator, and managing various administrative tasks. The role may occasionally necessitate work outside of regular office hours and involves promoting culture and creativity in line with the Creative Ireland Programme’s vision.
