The International Music and Performing Arts Charitable Trust (IMPACT) Scotland seeks to appoint an experienced Director of Development to lead the philanthropic efforts of the Trust, especially to complete the delivery of a £15 million fundraising campaign for the construction of The Dunard Centre.

The Director of Development will report to the Executive Director, work in partnership with Board of Trustees, and will be supported by the Executive Team and, especially in delivering the practical aspects of the campaign, the Communications Team.

Prospective candidates should demonstrate experience of fundraising at a high level with expertise in major gifts and capital campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a confident senior fundraiser, who is comfortable leading from the front and who understands how to develop, implement, and deliver an ambitious and effective fundraising strategy.

Evidencing practical organisational skills, budgetary management and attention to detail along with demonstrating an ability to creatively cultivate and nurture relationships with an existing and emerging donor base will be essential to success of the project. The Director of Development will bring an engaging, collaborative, and compelling style, as she or he will be responsible to negotiate major gifts, and work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to propel the philanthropic efforts of the Trust and the campaign.
