The Barbican Centre in London is hiring a Planning and Evaluation Officer (Creative Learning).

The Planning and Evaluation Officer (Creative Learning) is a Fixed Term 6-month role. You’ll work to ensure the smooth running of the Creative Learning office, with a particular focus on the coordination of evaluation processes, information management and impact reporting, supporting the department’s programme development, advocacy work, and commitment to Access, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you’ll work collaboratively within a dynamic team of Creative Learning Producers, supporting the Senior Producer operationally to ensure the smooth delivery of a wide range of cross-arts projects. You’ll be very organised, with experience in an administrative role and an active knowledge and interest in creative and collaborative arts practice, along with a commitment to work that supports access and inclusion in the arts, and to sustainable creative practice.

You’ll have a thorough understanding of evaluation, monitoring and impact reporting with the ability to efficiently analyse and present data. You’ll need very good written and organisational skills and you should be able to set and maintain office systems efficiently. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of people, both internally within the Barbican and externally with people and partners will be needed.
