Sistema Scotland is hiring a Chief Executive Officer. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, alternating between an office base in one of the Big Noise centres in Scotland and remote work from home.

As the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction, ensuring that the organisation achieves the maximum positive impact for children and young people in the Big Noise communities. It will be your responsibility to establish clear purpose, values, and direction for the organisation, as well as develop the necessary structure and resources to deliver on the mission. You will also exhibit thought-provoking and influential leadership within and beyond the organisation, fostering connections with partners and stakeholders to ensure that insights gained from the Big Noise programmes contribute to the understanding and addressing of poverty in Scotland.

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate should have a profound dedication and enthusiasm for the impactful nature of social change and music initiatives such as Big Noise. Additionally, they should demonstrate a proven track record in various areas, including setting and achieving strategic priorities, leadership and team development, thriving in demanding environments, an interest in proactive approaches to addressing the underlying causes of poverty and inequality, values-based leadership, establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships, and experience working with and reporting to a Board.
