Grants Coordinator – 2 x vacancies
PRS Foundation, based at London Bridge, is offering two Grants Coordinator positions. One role is a full-time permanent position, subject to a 6-month probationary period, and the other is a one-year full-time fixed-term contract with a 3-month probationary period. The roles entail a hybrid working model.
The ideal candidate should be organised, possess strong musical knowledge across genres such as pop, rock, Black Music, classical, jazz, and folk, and have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. Familiarity with talent development, arts funding, grant-making, and its significance in the UK music scene is essential. Direct experience with the funding system as an applicant or recipient is advantageous, and so is previous music industry experience. The selected candidates will be involved in key programmes including the PPL Momentum Music Fund, The Open Fund, Women Make Music, POWER UP, and Keychange.
The applicant should be knowledgeable about new music trends, understand challenges faced by not-for-profit music entities, and be ready to contribute to a rapidly evolving organisation. They must exhibit skills in project management, administration, and effective team coordination. Knowledge of PRS for Music and IT proficiency, including Word, Excel, and web-based communications, is also required.
