MusicTown Dublin 2023 has announced its programme, scheduled for July 27th to 30th.

Marking a shift in its format, the event this year condenses into a weekend-long experience and is entirely hosted at a single venue, The Complex in Dublin City.

MusicTown, since its inception in 2015, has served as a stage for different styles and genres of music across Dublin. For MusicTown 2023, the guest curators are the Improvised Music Company (IMC), Dublin Digital Radio, and Crash Ensemble. IMC is set to introduce its new venue 'The Cooler' within The Complex as part of the event, Crash Ensemble has curated performances in the Gallery space, and Dublin Digital Radio will manage a distinct afternoon performance on Sunday featuring three artists.

The announced artist line-up includes Anna Mieke, Adrian Crowley, Natalia Beylis & Eimear Reidy, Aoife Wolf, Junior Brother, girlfriend., Paddy Hanna, Elaine Malone, Pebbledash, Crash Ensemble, Qbanaa, Tomike, Moondiver, Emmy Shigeta, Izumi Kimura, Zaska, H-Ci, gush, Ria Rua, ALYXIS, I Dreamed I Dream, Péist, Ian Nyquist, E the Artist, Carole Nelson Trio, Michael Buckley Quartet, Paddy Keenan (accompanied by John Francis Flynn & Alan Burke), Poor Creature, and Iona Zajac.
