M'ANAM : Live in Dublin (CD Release Show)
M'ANAM (“My Soul” in the English language) is one of the most exciting new vocal ensembles to emerge in recent years and grew naturally from the legendary ANÚNA. This is their first performance in Dublin and celebrates the launch of their debut album M'ANAM.
TICKET PRICE INCLUDES A CD COPY OF THE NEW ALBUM.
The members come from the islands of Ireland and Iceland encompassing a huge range of musical experiences and yet they are unified together with one voice and one vision. M'ANAM's songs and texts date back as far as the 9th century, and they are as comfortable singing an elegy for a dead Viking in Icelandic (“Deyr Fé”) as they are reinterpreting the classic English folk song “The Sheep Stealer".
M’ANAM are redefining the accepted ideas of male-voice singing with their natural, unforced and immediate sound. Ticket price includes copy of brand new CD.
