Trinity College Jazz Society are honored to have drumming legend, Steve Gadd, with us next week for what will no doubt be an incredible Masterclass! Back in 2010 he came to Dublin sololy to perform a clinic in The Helix Theatre where he sold out the Main theatre. This is a great chance to be present, in the intimate J.M. Synge Hall for the most sought after drummers in the world today.

This is a rare opportunity to get close and feast of the incredible sound groove and technique of arguably the greatest living drummer playing today. Gadd, is the man associated with changing drumming forever following his sensational performance on the title track of Steely Dan’s Aja. Also when you think of Paul Simon’s 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover you think back to the profound drum intro and yes, that was Gadd. His throngs of drum fans affectionately know him as “Gadd Is God”.

This will definitely be one of our favorite events in Jazz Soc history so be there or be sad that you missed this class event!!
