On 6 August 2023, Proms 2023 will present Prom 29 at the Royal Albert Hall, featuring Mozart’s Mass in C minor. The event will commence at 11:00.

The programme will begin with Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Sinfonia in D major, BWV 1045” for a duration of 6 minutes, followed by “Singet dem Herrn, BWV 225,” which will last 14 minutes. Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach’s “Heilig ist Gott” will complete the first half of the programme, taking up 7 minutes. Following an interval, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Mass in C minor, K427,” completed by C. Kemme, will be performed for 50 minutes.

The performers include soprano singers Lucy Crowe and Nardus Williams, alto Jess Dandy, tenor Benjamin Hulett, and baritone Robert Davies. The Dunedin Consort, led by harpsichordist/conductor John Butt, will also participate.
