Darmstadt Workshop on Writing About Contemporary Music – Open for Applications
A workshop for young journalists interested in writing about contemporary music is being offered at the 2016 International Summer Course for New Music in Darmstadt, Germany, which takes place from 29 July to 14 August.
The tutors are Peter Meanwell, Artistic Director of the Borealis festival in Bergen and a former producer of BBC Radio 3’s Late Junction; Anna Hilde Neset, a Contributing Editor at Wire magazine and Artistic Director of Norwegian music organisation Ny Musikk; and Stefan Fricke, co-founder of the PFAU Press and Editor-in-Chief for New Music and Sound Art at Hessian Broadcasting in Frankfurt.
This is the fourth year of the writing workshop, which will be offered in English and German.
The deadline for applications is 1 March.
