Irish singer, songwriter and composer Laura Sheeran has released her third solo album, 'What the World Knows'.

Laura Sheeran live

Last Friday saw the launch of Irish singer and composer Laura Sheeran’s new album, What the World Knows. Sheeran began her musical career in the Fovea Hex group alongside Kate Ellis and Clodagh Simonds. She has since released two full solo albums, Lust of the Pig and The Fresh Blood and Murderous Love, as well as a number of EPs. She is also heavily involved in film and theatre music, and composed music for the Paperdolls show at the 2011 Dublin Fringe Festival, members of which feature in the video for Forever Love, the album’s flagship single.

Sheeran recently recorded a live 2FM session with Kate Ellis, Catriona Cannon and Linda Buckley, whom she will be joining along with Francesco Turrisi, Adrian Hart, Chequerboard, poet Billy Ramsell and artist Jane Cassidy at the Ellis-curated RESOUND multimedia concert at the Button Factory in Dublin on 19 April.

Also an artist, Laura is known for designing and creating the artwork for her albums. As well as a digital release, a limited run of physical copies of What the World Knows are available. The album can be purchased online here.
