The National Concert Hall (NCH) is set to host a classical music concert featuring the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) on January 12, 2024. The performance, scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM on the Main Stage, will include two notable pieces: Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 2 and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, ‘From the New World’.

The concert will be led by conductor Julio García-Vico. Denis Kozhukhin, described as ‘a focused wave of energy’ by Bachtrack, will be the featured soloist for Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 2. This piece is known for its blend of grandiosity and intimacy. The performance of Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 is anticipated to be a homage to America’s frontier spirit, with a melody that reflects homesickness for the composer’s native Bohemia.
