An Italian voyage sees Irish Chamber Orchestra team up with celebrated U.K. conductor Christian Curnyn, and two of Ireland’s finest singers Sharon Carty and Anna Devin to perform Pergolesi’s iconic Stabat Mater. This deeply personal meditation, written by the dying Pergolesi takes us to the heart of human passion. Respighi’s illuminating Ancient Airs and Dances No. 3 features alongside Puccini ‘s elegiac Chrysanthemums and Van Wassenaer’s ground-breaking Concerto Armonici No.5. Catch these scenic snapshots from Italy in Waterford, Limerick, Clifden, and Birr from 20-23 September.
