hello i’m a performer and composer of new music. i was classically trained on piano at the royal conservatoire of scotland, which fun but later decided to specialise in experimental performance at trinity laban conservatoire of music and dance in london. now you’ll probably be more likely to find me performing on a combination of things like piano, synths, electronics and weird objects that I find in my house. i’m doing a phd on queer processes in music and how we can use them (whether we are queer or not…although for the record I am!)

james and i met online and became online friends and then online collaborators and then real life friends and now (as you can probably guess) real life collaborators! AND friends! its great. if you want to chat more you can find me and my work here:

hi, i’m also a composer/performer. i wanted to be a viola player when i studied at the university of york. after several flirtations with theatre as a student, i play viola amongst other things to make experimental music. i make things with words, and do other performances that other people have composed and occasionally compose things for other people to perform. i’m interested in failing and disrupting things and i am investigating how disruption and failing like, disrupts my work? I work with objects, toy instruments and saying lots of words in a performance.

i’m currently doing a phd working as a composer-in-residence with theatre company stan’s cafe. i’m very excited to be performing in ireland again, as the last time i performed here was in the back desk of violas in a youth orchestra.
