Chant Électronique is an international collective of producers and singers who explore the potentialities of traditional music and electronics. Coming from Portugal, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France and Ireland, they first met in Portugal in 2019 for a collective rumination on transitioning the boundaries of their own individual cultural heritage.

The group’s debut album “chant electronique vol.1” was released in November 2020 on Londonbased independent label Rika Muzika and sees them combining ancient polyphonic singing traditionswith synth and computer/analog based electronic patterns and textures. On release this debutreceived critical acclaim and airtime on radio shows in France, Croatia, Serbia, USA, Australia and theUK as well as featuring on BBC, Worldwide FM, Hotel Radio Paris & KPFA.
