Soprano Ailish Tynan returns to the fold for a fabulous evening of Christmas crackers! Corelli’s Christmas Concerto evokes all the mystery of Christmas Eve. The Lamb is one of Tavener’s most sensitive and treasured works. The tender yet radiant cantata Dies Natalis is Finzi’s finest as Ailish reflects on the joy and wonder of a newborn child’s innocent perspective on the world. She follows this with an all-time favourite, Mozart’s Exultante Jubilate. The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, one of Handel’s best-loved works, brims with splendour and operatic drama and paves the way for some of our best loved Christmas carols sung with panache by Ailish Tynan.
