The Irish National Opera (INO) is inviting applications for its Company Chorus, INO Studio, and Extra Chorus for the 2024/25 season. The INO Company Chorus, a key component of the INO’s artistic framework, offers 16 season-based roles for singers to participate in approximately four main-scale productions, translating to around 20 weeks of engagement. Positions available include two baritone/bass roles. Concurrent membership in both the INO Company Chorus and INO Studio is permitted.

The INO Studio, starting in September 2024, aims to nurture Irish opera artists in the early stages of their careers, offering training, mentoring, and professional opportunities. The studio is open to singers and artists in other disciplines, with an emphasis on those who have completed Masters level training and are Irish or Ireland-based at the time of application. Activities include vocal coaching, masterclasses, and performance opportunities.

Extra Chorus auditions are also open, supplementing the Company Chorus on a project basis. Auditions will be held in Dublin City Centre on 28th and 29th March, with requirements including presenting arias of contrasting styles.
