Belfast-born pianist Justine Gormley presents a programme of North and South American piano music as part of her ‘Music of the Americas’ tour 2024. Enjoy a fusion of classical, folk, jazz and blues styles.

About:

Justine Gormley studies as an ABRSM scholar at the Royal Northern College of Music with Kathryn Stott. Her résumé comprises of awards from Irish Heritage and NI Arts Council and performances at Clandeboye Festival, Belfast Music Society Festival, and Wigmore Hall. She has broadcast multiple times with BBC Radio Ulster and has performed with the Ulster Orchestra and conductor David Brophy. Also a keen chamber musician, Justine has performed alongside numerous internationally renowned artists such as Ailish Tynan, Michel Lethiec, Henri Demarquette and Richard Watkins. Amongst Justine’s past mentors are John McParland, John Gough, and Barry Douglas, whom she met through her involvement with the Camerata Ireland Academy.
