The Galway Arts Centre and Ar Ais Arís are proud to co-present the next instalment of Disquiet Nights at the Commercial Boat Club, Woodquay on 12 April – and this time we are dancing all night!

Coinciding with the launch of Martina O’Brien’s draft fissure exhibition at the Galway Arts Centre on Lower Dominick St, the Ar Ais Arís team have programmed a night of premium techno and electro connected to the themes of Martina’s work.

The DJs on the line-up are Prun, Eliza, and Imogen.

Prun
Hailing from Westport long time electro aficionado, Prun brings a wealth of electro love and digging to the sea floor. He is the founder of the critically acclaimed Deep Sea Dweller club night, Ireland’s only dedicated electro club night.

Eliza
Eliza is one of Ireland’s finest DJs and we are so excited to have her involved. An avid record collector, her sets meander through the rawer sounds of electronic music. Not one to be pigeonholed but expect her to weave through pulsating electro, acid and techno.

IMOGEN
Headlining the night is NTS resident, former Fabric resident, formidable producer and highly sought after DJ around Europe, IMOGEN. IMOGEN channels dystopian electro, rumbling bass, UK techno and choppy breaks, drawing influence from her storied years living in London while adding her own spiky twist to the darker-tinted tones of electronic music. Galway’s electronic music community will know her well, following her amazing set supporting Kettama and Shampain at the Big Top in summer 2023. Suffice to say, we are over the moon to have her perform at AAA.

All proceeds of the ticket sales will go to UNRWA – the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees.

Disquiet Nights is curated by Megs Morley and Produced by the Black Gate Galway. Supported by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media through the Late-Night Events (Pilot Programme).

Ar Ais Arís (AAA) is an electronic music night providing a safe space for counter-culture in Galway, on the west coast of Ireland. It combines DIY approaches with high production values through art, graphic design, venue decor & lighting, and high-end sound systems.

The night places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, diversity and safety.
