We are pleased to announce that The 6th Peter Rosser Composition Award 2023 is now open for submissions!

Submission to the award is open to composers born or domicile in N. Ireland and Republic of Ireland. The competition is open to composers regardless of age. However, the award is aimed at emerging composers. The organisers, therefore, welcome submissions from composers at the start of their careers. HRSE particularly welcomes submissions from women composers.

Deadline for Submission is 4pm Friday 17th November 2023. 3 prizewinning composers will be shortlisted by Friday 1st December 2023 and all shortlisted works will be performed and recorded by Hard Rain SoloistEnsemble at a special concert at QUB in Belfast on Fri 26th January 2024. 1st prize - £1000 and runners up - £250.
