The Carducci String Quartet is set to perform a series of concerts as part of the Kilkenny Arts Festival’s Lunchtime Music Series. The performance is scheduled for 15th August 2023 at 1pm in St John’s Priory.

Programme III, titled ‘…TO THE NEW WORLD’, will feature three pieces: ‘Poem’ by Rebecca Clarke, ‘Entr’acte’ by contemporary American composer Caroline Shaw, and Antonín Dvořák’s String Quartet No. 12 in F major, op. 96, known as ‘American’.

The Carducci String Quartet is set to perform various pieces by renowned composers throughout the Kilkenny Arts Festival, including works by Beethoven, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Philip Glass, and Astor Piazzolla.

Tickets for this lunchtime concert are priced at €20 and €18, with the performance lasting approximately 50 minutes. Ticket bundles are available for those wishing to attend more than one event during the festival.
