Kilkenny Arts Festival will host a special performance featuring musicians Martin Hayes and Kate Ellis. The event is scheduled for 14th August 2023 at 9.00 pm at Watergate Theatre, and will be part of the Marble City Sessions at this year’s festival, which runs from 10th to 20th August.

Martin Hayes, known for his role in the Irish fiddle tradition, and Kate Ellis, a cellist and the Artistic Director of Crash Ensemble, a contemporary classical ensemble in Ireland, will be performing together. The programme for the evening includes a performance as a duo, exploring the convergence of traditional and contemporary music.

Tickets for the performance are priced at €25/€23, with the performance lasting approximately 60 minutes without an interval. Ticket bundles are also available for those interested in attending multiple events at the Kilkenny Arts Festival.
