Life, Itself @ Dublin Fringe Festival 2023

Friday, 15 September 2023, 6.45pm

The Dublin Fringe Festival 2023 will feature ÓDÚ’s production, LIFE, ITSELF, a one-woman album described as a semi-autobiographical piece of gig theatre. This presentation also serves as the debut LP from ÓDÚ.

LIFE, ITSELF delves into the experiences of living outside societal expectations, and it highlights the challenges posed by the shifting dynamics of city life and distancing communities. The work also addresses the pressure of personal ambition and the complexities of navigating non-romantic relationships in a society predominantly focused on romantic love. This production was developed with the assistance of FRINGE LAB.

Potential attendees are informed that the performance will include instances of loud noises and makes references to topics related to mental health.

The promotional image for the production has been credited to Yosef Phelan.

The preview of LIFE, ITSELF is scheduled for 14th September at 18:45, with tickets priced at €11. Regular performances are slated for 15th and 16th September at 18:45, with ticket prices set at €14 and €12. An additional performance will be hosted on 16th September at 15:30, with similar ticket pricing. The production is set to take place at the Smock Alley Theatre’s Black Box and has a runtime of 60 minutes.
