25 August 2023, Bantry House, West Cork – Níos Déanaí, a segment of the West Cork Music Festival, is set to host a concert emphasising the guitar’s role in traditional music. The event will occur on Friday, 25th August 2023, starting at 10:30 pm at Bantry House.

Steve Cooney will present arrangements of harp music during the concert. Luka Bloom, recognized in both the singer-songwriter and traditional music circles, will play selections from his 2021 instrumental guitar album, “Out Of The Blue”. Laura Snowden, a classical guitarist from England, who also delves into folk music, including traditional Irish tunes, is scheduled to perform. The evening promises to blend Snowden’s guitar skills with the ambiance of Bantry House’s candlelit library.
