Featuring melodies inspired by fairies and folklore and traditional arrangements for Irish harp and flute, Cruitirí Chill Mhantáin will showcase the very best of local harping talent in Co. Wicklow. Join Cruit Éireann | Harp Ireland at Coolattin House on Friday 10th May to celebrate our rich cultural heritage.

Aisling Ennis is a highly regarded harper both at home and internationally and works to support and enrich the arts in Wicklow. Aisling’s performance will reflect her evocative playing across a broad spectrum of genres, ongoing experimental collaborations and innovative approaches to programming.

 

Rachel Duffy, from Bray, Co. Wicklow is a harper and PhD researcher at TU Dublin. Having performed at festivals across Ireland and internationally, Rachel’s music is inspired by both the Irish harp’s history and exciting developments in harping today . For this concert, Rachel will collaborate with local flute maestro Jack Hennessy.
