The Royal Irish Academy is seeking applications for a permanent Head of Programmes and Engagement. The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director and will be based in Dublin. The role involves leading governance and strategic initiatives, managing central administration, and directing communication strategies to support the Academy’s objectives.

Responsibilities include overseeing governance activities, coordinating the implementation of strategic plans, and managing administrative policies. Additionally, the role requires leading the Academy’s communications to enhance its visibility and impact across various sectors.

Applicants must hold a third-level degree in a relevant field and have at least five years of management experience, preferably in higher education. Essential skills include leadership, communication, and strategic thinking, with a strong understanding of digital media trends.
