The Galway International Arts Festival announces the Galway Music Residency’s ‘Strings Attached with ConTempo Quartet’ series, running from 18th to 20th July 2023. Commemorating ConTempo Quartet’s 20-year tenure as Galway Music Residency’s Ensemble-in-Residence, these three concerts will spotlight jazz, classical, and traditional music performances. Concerts will commence at 6pm, each lasting approximately one hour, across three unique venues: An Taibhdhearc, St. Nicholas’ Church, and the Emily Anderson Theatre at the University of Galway. Tickets are available for €16 per concert or €40 for the entire series.

On 18th July, JazzTempo + ConTempo Quartet, led by Matthew Berrill, will perform a fusion of jazz standards and classical strings at An Taibhdhearc.
