The Galway International Arts Festival invites you to attend the ‘Strings Attached with ConTempo Quartet’ concert series, hosted by the Galway Music Residency, on 19th July 2023 at 6pm.

This event, celebrating the 20-year association of ConTempo Quartet with Galway Music Residency, will be held at Saint Nicholas Collegiate Church, Lombard Street. The evening’s programme will include the world premiere composition by Grammy award-winning composer Bill Whelan, to be performed by ConTempo Quartet and Irish traditional arts prodigies, siblings Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta.

Additionally, the concert will present an array of tunes, airs, and contemporary music inspired by the traditional, featuring well-known Galway piper, Pádraic Keane. Each concert lasts approximately an hour with no interval. Tickets are priced at €16, or €40 for all three concerts.
