European Networks of Cultural and Creative Organisations

European Networks of Cultural and Creative Organisations

Thursday, 7 March 2024, 4.00pm

Creative Europe Desk Ireland is accepting applications for the European Networks of Cultural and Creative Organisations funding opportunity, with a deadline of 7 March 2024. This initiative is designed to strengthen the capacities of European cultural and creative sectors in addressing shared challenges, nurturing talent, fostering innovation, and facilitating job creation and growth.

The funding will support projects by membership-based, multi-country networks of European cultural organisations covering a broad spectrum of Creative Europe participating countries. These networks are expected to have a collective mission, governance rules, and defined members’ rights and obligations. It’s important to note that networks exclusively covering the audiovisual sector are not eligible.

Successful proposals should demonstrate the potential to be effective policy networks in their respective fields. The proposals should address specific priorities such as empowering artists and cultural professionals, enhancing cultural participation, supporting digital transformation in the cultural sector, and fostering culture for the planet and co-creative partnerships. Proposals are expected to synergise with ongoing EU-funded activities, emphasise inclusion and diversity (including gender balance), and contribute to the greening of Creative Europe.
