Summer Visiting Fellowship in Irish Studies

The Boston College Irish Studies Program, in conjunction with the Burns Library, invites applications for visiting summer fellowships, open to researchers and writers in any discipline pertaining to Irish Studies.

The fellowship includes gratis accommodation for the scholar and any immediate family members in a university-owned house adjacent to campus for up to four weeks beginning in mid-June or mid-July in 2023, 2024 or 2025 (fellows are expected to be in residence for at least three weeks). The fellowship also provides up to $1,500 reimbursement of eligible expenses to help defray the fellow’s personal travel to and from Boston. The fellow is responsible for all other expenses. Early-career scholars are particularly encouraged to apply.
