Wicklow County Arts Office is inviting applications for its 2024 Arts Act Funding Schemes. These schemes are part of Wicklow County Council’s commitment to foster artistic excellence and community engagement in the arts throughout the county. The funding is designed to support artists, festivals, and community arts participation, contributing to the cultural development within County Wicklow.

There are three funding categories available:
– Artist Award
– Artist & Community Collaboration
– Arts Festival Award

A new application support service is being offered from 10th January to 9th February 2024. This includes a 30-minute consultation with an Arts Office team member, available by email appointment on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, two funding clinics are scheduled for early 2024. The first, led by Marianne O’Kane Boal, focuses on the Artist and Artist & Community Collaboration Awards. The second, facilitated by Helen Meany, concentrates on the Arts Festival Award.

Applications open on 1st December 2023 and close on 16th February 2024 at 4 pm. Submissions must be made online via the Submittable platform, with supporting documentation, including a completed budget template.

Applicants will receive a confirmation email upon submission and can expect notification of outcomes within 6–8 weeks after the application deadline.
