Music for Galway is inviting applications for the International Student Programme (ISP) as part of Cellissimo 2024. The event will be held in Galway city from 20 to 25 May 2024. This programme is targeted at cello students and recent graduates (within two years of graduation) from across Europe.

Participants in the ISP will engage in a range of activities, including Masterclasses, pop-up concerts in various Galway locations, and performances in both the Cellissimo Grand Finale concert and a dedicated student showcase concert. Hotel accommodation will be provided for all participants for the duration of the programme.

Eligibility criteria include:
– Being a current student or a recent graduate (within the past 2 years).
– Aged between 18 and 26 years.
– Ability to cover own travel expenses to Galway.

A key theme for Cellissimo 2024 is sustainability and environmental awareness. Therefore, participants are required to travel to and from Galway using slow/green methods, avoiding air travel and fossil fuels. Assistance and advice on sustainable travel will be provided to successful applicants.
