Mendelssohn Sonata No. 3 in F major MWV Q 26

JISUN MIN is a violinist from South Korea, studying at the RIAM’s Professional Mentorship course after completing her Recital Artist Diploma. She previously studied at the Korea National University of Art where she graduated with Preliminary Conservatory, Bachelor and Master degrees. She has won a number of national awards and competitions, also appeared as leader of many Orchestras in Korea from 2012 to 2019 until she decided to study abroad in Ireland.

She has been leader of the RIAM Philharmonia since 2019. She was awarded the Colin Staveley Memorial Medal at RIAM's Maura Dowdall Competition 2020. Nominated as winner of the Dublin ChamberFest for four years running. Recent performances include chamber music at Galway Mid-winter Festival, playing at the Tullamore Gramophone Chamber Society and Wexford chamber festival 2022-2023.

She was Nominated by RIAM and given solo opportunity at the Limerick Rising Star Gala concert and she is lined up to play the Rising Star Recital at West Wicklow chamber music festival 2024.

JiSun regularly works with professional orchestras in Ireland Currently working with the NSO, Wexford Festival Opera, Ulster Orchestra. etc.

In Ireland, she studied with Fionnuala Hunt (2019-2021) and then continued studying with three teachers, Mia Cooper, Sarah Sew and Historical Performance with Claire Duff at the RIAM (2021-2023).

Since she has been 14 years old, JiSun Min plays an Italian-American violin built by Frank J. Callir in 1920.

ADAM COLLINS studied organ, piano, clarinet and music theory at Schola Cantorum, St Finian’s College under the tutelage of Gerard Lillis, Marie There Cotter and David Birmingham. He enrolled as a part time student at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in 2011. There, he studied piano with Hugh Tinney and harpsichord and organ with David Adams, obtaining multiple prizes in Dublin's Feis Ceol as well as NI International Organ Competition. He was organ scholar at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral, Dublin from 2013-2014, where he worked intensively with the Palestrina Choir and studied organ with Gerard Gillen. He went on to be organist at Cathedral of Christ the King in Mullingar, a role he served for three years. In 2019, Adam took lessons in fortepiano in the Hague with Bart van Oort, Petra Somlai and Richard Egarr. From 2021 - 2023, he completed his degree in piano at RIAM with Peter Tuite.

Adam has keen interest in historically informed performance practices and is an experienced continuo player, both on harpsichord and organ. Previous continuo performances include Haydn's The Creation (Guinness Choir), Handel's Messiah, (Mullingar Choral Society, Dublin Bach Singers, Palestrina Choir, RIAM Chorale), Bach's St John Passion (Dublin Bach Singers) and several years as the principal continuo player for Fishamble Sinfonia. He has also played organ in RIAM opera's production of Cavalli's Ormindo as well as working as repetiteur for RIAM Opera, Irish Youth Opera and Opera in Castalia among others.

Adam performs regularly as an accompanist and collaborative pianist in Ireland and enjoys working with singers and instrumentalists alike. He studied composition with Jonathan Nangle and Kevin O'Connell and is an active participant in RIAM's composition and new music department. Recently, Adam was awarded the Fidelio cup in RIAM’s Tessier Competition and the CamberFest Dublin prize for the second year running; both prizes were awarded for performances of Beethoven.
