A professional violin maker for twenty five years, Paul Bradley completed his formal training at Newark School of Violin Making in 1997. His workshop clients have included traditional musicians Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh of the group Altan, fiddle player Frankie Gavin and other renowned traditional fiddlers, whilst a violin of Paul’s making is played by Rachel Rynne-Lyons, first violinist with the City of Dublin Chamber Orchestra.

Paul is a highly regarded traditional fiddle player and composer of Traditional Irish Music. He has appeared on numerous television broadcasts with RTÉ and BBC and has performed in solo and group concerts throughout Europe and America.

Join Paul for a talk on violin making on Saturday 21st May from 11am-12pm, or visit his temporary workshop in Russborough where he will be available from 12-4pm to show some of his instruments - a viola, a violin and a cello recently made in Armagh City, where he and his family now reside.
