Sundays at Noon : Larissa O'Grady - 6 new works for violin
Sunday at Noon Concert, September 3rd at 12pm - Concert of new works for violin by six Irish composers.
Paired with each composer through the Contemporary Music Centre Artist's Network programme, this concert features the premieres of 6 new pieces for violin composed and developed in 2022/2023.
From spoken word to animation, live and fixed electronics, microtonal writing conveying the chemical process of burning sugar, and a live field recordist recording and playing back the violin and sounds of a greater spotted woodpecker.
