The Arts Office of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (DLR) is inviting applications from professional artists for temporary projects that respond to public forests in the DLR area. The projects are funded by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and supported by Coillte Nature and the Dublin Mountains Partnership.

A total budget of €10,000 is available for each project, and two projects are expected to be selected. The projects should be either lens-based or audio-based; permanent artworks or temporary site-based work are not eligible. The work must respond to the area’s forests, and the outcome should be presented during National Tree Week in March 2024. Projects must be carried out between mid-December 2023 and mid-March 2024.

The application deadline is 1.00pm on Monday, 25 September 2023, and applications must be submitted online.
